Q. What does the MyTV9 Star do? A. If the MyTV9 Star comes to your event, she will take pictures, video if appropriate, and mingle with guests. She can also serve as an emcee, or help host or judge an event.
Q. What's in it for me? A. The MyTV9 Star will promote the appearance on the MyTV9 Facebook page, Twitter page, and calendar listings on the MyTV9 Star website.
Q. Will we be on TV? A. Some of the events and videos the MyTV9 Star appears at will end up being shown in short on-air promos on MyTV9. These will depend on the footage, and availability of such promos.
Q. I want the news to cover this event. Will that happen if the MyTV9 Star is there? A. The MyTV9 Star operates independently of News 8. Having the star at your event does not mean your event will receive any news coverage.
Q. What do I need to provide if the MyTV9 Star comes to my event? A. There are a few basic requirements. Parking, a contact person on site, and an idea of what you would like to feature. We do ask that someone be assigned as a guide to show the star around, and answer any questions or concerns she may have while at the event.
Q. How much notice do you need before putting a request in? A. 30 days is the minimum. This will allow time to review the event, and if the MyTV9 Star can attend, to set up dates and get information, |
