LOS ANGELES (AP) - If the two "American Idol" finalists are feeling any pre-show jitters, they're hiding it well.
At a news conference Monday in Los Angeles, Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze joked around when asked about competing against each other.
The 24-year-old DeWyze, from Mount Prospect, Ill., said he'd be happy for Bowersox if she won, then teased her by saying he was engaging in strategy.
Bowersox, 24, of Toledo, Ohio, who said she and DeWyze have a friendly rivalry, suggested they "freak everybody out" by starting a band.
The pair will sing on the Fox TV show at 8-9 p.m. EDT Tuesday, with the results to be announced in a two-hour finale airing at 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday.
